At Lin Academy, we strive to maintain transparency, fairness, and discipline in all financial dealings. Our refund policy is designed to balance the interests of both students and educators, while ensuring sustainability of the platform. By enrolling as a student or educator, you agree to the following refund terms:
Demo Classes Provided:
Students are encouraged to attend demo classes before making payment for a course. This ensures they can evaluate the teaching style, course quality, and educator suitability.
Once a student enrolls and makes payment after demo classes, refunds will not be issued for dissatisfaction with the educator or course selection.
Eligibility for Refunds:
A refund may be considered only in extreme conditions, such as:
Technical errors on Lin Academy’s payment gateway causing double/incorrect charges.
Failure of course delivery (e.g., classes not starting within the promised schedule).
Unforeseen educator withdrawal from the platform before course commencement.
Refund Timeframe:
Eligible refund requests must be raised within seven (7) days from the date of payment.
No refund requests will be accepted after this period.
Non-Refundable Cases:
Change of mind after course purchase.
Wrong selection of educator or course.
Failure to attend classes due to personal reasons (internet issues, device problems, etc.).
Platform Fee:
Educators pay a monthly platform fee to access Lin Academy’s professional services (company ID, Google Workspace tools, educator webpage, storage, and support).
This fee is non-refundable once paid, as the services are activated immediately.
Cancellation of Educatorship:
An educator may request cancellation of their association with Lin Academy at any time.
Upon cancellation, they will be removed from the next billing cycle and will not be charged further.
Fees already paid for the current month will not be refunded.
Refunds, where applicable, will be processed back to the original payment method within 7–14 business days.
Lin Academy reserves the right to review each case individually and may request supporting documents to process refunds.
Any disputes arising from this policy shall be resolved under the jurisdiction of the company’s governing laws.
