1. Introduction

Welcome to Lin Academy ("we," "our," or "us"). Lin Academy is a specialized educational institution providing mentorship and training for competitive examinations, academic subjects, and skill development. By accessing our website (www.linacademy.in), enrolling in our courses, or accessing our digital materials, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use our services.

2. Enrollment and License to Use

2.1. Single-User License

When you purchase or enroll in any course (Academic, Competitive, or Skill-based), Lin Academy grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access the content for your personal educational use only.

2.2. Prohibition on Account Sharing

Your account and access links are strictly for your own use. Sharing your secure Premium Vault access links, Google Meet credentials, or passwords with friends, groups, or on public forums is a strict violation of this policy.

Security Protocol: Our system tracks login IP addresses and access patterns. If simultaneous logins from different locations, unauthorized link sharing, or suspicious activity is detected, your access will be permanently suspended without refund.

2.3. Delivery of Content

All premium courses are delivered digitally via our browser-native Premium Digital Vaults (for recorded masterclasses and materials) and Google Meet (for live interactive cohorts). There are no third-party apps required. It is the student's responsibility to ensure they have a stable internet connection and a modern web browser (such as Google Chrome) to access the content seamlessly.

3. Intellectual Property Rights (Copyright Policy)

 All content provided by Lin Academy is the exclusive intellectual property of the Founder and Lin Academy. This includes, but is not limited to:

• Video Lectures (Live or Recorded Masterclasses)

• Handwritten Notes, Smart PDFs, and Study Material

• The "Lin Academy" Logo, Brand Name, and Methodology

• Custom Diagrams, Presentations, and Illustrations

Strict Prohibitions:

• No Downloading: Downloading, screen-recording, or "ripping" video lectures is strictly prohibited.

• No Sharing: Sharing PDF notes, Vault access links, Google Meet links, or materials on Telegram groups, WhatsApp, or other file-sharing platforms is illegal.

• No Resale: Reselling or distributing course materials for commercial gain is a direct violation of the Copyright Act.

Legal Action: Any violation of these rights will lead to immediate termination of enrollment and may invite legal action under the Copyright Act, 1957.

4. Payments and Refunds

4.1. Pricing Transparency

All prices are listed in Indian Rupees (INR). We reserve the right to change course fees at any time. However, if you have already enrolled, you will not be charged extra for that specific batch.

4.2. Refund Policy

We offer a strict but fair refund policy based on digital consumption.

• Eligibility: You may request a refund within 24 hours of enrollment if the course does not meet your expectations.

• Ineligibility: Refunds will NOT be processed if:

  • The request is made after 24 hours.

  • You have already accessed and downloaded proprietary digital assets (Notes/Study Material), as digital goods cannot be returned.

  • You were removed for violating the Code of Conduct.

5. Student Code of Conduct

We maintain a professional academic environment. During Live Classes (Google Meet) or within our digital doubt-resolution portals, you agree to:

• Respect: Treat the Faculty and fellow students with absolute dignity.

• Discipline: Avoid spamming, using abusive language, or disrupting the class flow.

• Audio Protocol: Keep your microphone muted unless asked to speak during live sessions.

Zero Tolerance: Any form of harassment, hate speech, or disruption will result in immediate expulsion from the course without refund.

6. Limitation of Liability

6.1. Educational Outcomes

Lin Academy provides mentorship, strategy, and premium content to the best of our ability. However, success in examinations (UPSC, State PSC, etc.) depends entirely on the student's own hard work, consistency, and the nature of the examination. We do not guarantee specific ranks, scores, or selection.

6.2. Technical Issues

We are not liable for interruptions in service due to third-party outages (Google Workspace/Server issues), internet failures in your area, or issues with your personal device.

7. Modifications to Services

Lin Academy reserves the right to:

• Update the syllabus coverage based on the latest trends or exam patterns.

• Reschedule live classes due to health or technical emergencies (with prior notice).

• Modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

8. Jurisdiction 

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or in relation to these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Odisha, India.
